Fresh chicken breast, with bruschetta topping, (Home made sauce, my own personal dash of receipe) with crumbled Feta, and fresh olives. Plus polenta with goats cheese and baby spinach.

I'm shocked, everyone liked it!

(weight watchers 15 min meals with 5 ingredients)
But the sauce was mine, I was too crook to go to the shops.

I've got the dreaded man flu!

last night I made myself some lambs fry with bacon and onion in a red wine sauce. Yum. Served with crushed potatoes using the euro spud masher thingo and some peas, eaten with a bottle of red while watching Sin City on blue ray. Bliss.

No one else eats it, so I've got 2 containers in the freezer, some for lunch tomorrow and one sandwich in the freezer for a heat breakfast when I feel like it. Just let it thaw out and whack it in the sandwich press.

For tonights dinner, beef and red wine casserole in the crock pot, with pasta.

Mrs WPT making a soup based on an a variation of Osso Bucco.

Last night went out with daughter no 1, her boyfriend & Mrs WPT for Vietnamese Pho & spring rolls in Springvale. Yum - we'd had a late lunch.

The Osso Bucco style soup was yum.

It had: 2 veal shins (pan browned), leek, potato, sweet potato, carrot, parsnip, zucchini, barley, white beans, water, parsley, thyme, (? tomato),(another herb) lemon juice a bit of garlic, water & served with toasted slices of french roll with butter - great stuff.

Mrs WPT had it for lunch at a nearby cafe a few weeks ago & tried it out - delicious.
