This is the type of game we are likely to lose. Emotions high last week, how do you get up to play against the tigers on thier current performance We should pump them, but stranger things have happened. They gave the Crows a hard time over there. Never understimate the opposition.
Richmond players mindset is they have nothing to play for except their position at the club.
This is a game to bring in Davis for confidence.

Nah we won't lose this one..
it will go either 2 ways.... we continue our form of the last 3 weeks winning by an avg of 56 points and totally destroy them or Richmond will come out guns blazing with nothing left to play for this season and just try to knock off teams making the finals, and we will win by under 20 points in a hard fought win.
but we won't lose.

Culprit echos my thoughts 100%. I think this game has the ability to be a danger game, I think the Tigers have an awful lot to prove this week, I mean 7 losses in a row is pretty much crisis state. I DO think however that the Pies just have too much forward power, strength in the midfield and our runners are doing great at the moment (just try and stop em!) BUT I wouldnt want our boys to come down after last weeks emotion and think it will be an easy one for them. In true Pies v Tigers fashion, I think it will be a scrappy affair, on a cold night with a slippery ball....... I HOPE its a HUGE win but I think it might be closer to what athas said, somewhere around 20 pts. To make matters worse, I have something else on that night so cant get to the game, but I will be doing my best to drag the people Im with into a pub/bar at some stage to watch it on telli - GO PIES!! Time to assert your dominance.

Biggest danger will be a repeat of the hawthorn game, first quarter 9 or 10 behinds. That game should have been over by then. I don't mind the chipping around the forward line a bit if it means we convert more.
Rather 5.2 or 6.2 then 3.4. or 2.4.
Woey fab is right we Must strat hard and set the pattern for the night.

This game will only become a danger game if the team thinks it is a danger game. This is NOT a danger game, repeat, this is NOT a danger game. We are better than Richmond all over the ground, we must obliterate them and absolutely shatter any sort of confidence they have remaining.
Go out there and SMASH 'em PIES!!
