LOL, swoop!

If it was the seniors, the score may have been 12-39-111 :)

From what I've heard on the radio stream:

No injuries
Jolls, Dids, Krak, Bally solid games. I only started listening from the start of the last qtr. Bally spent the last qtr off the ground by the sounds of it......player management reasons only

No injuries

Luke Mason from the Club's live coverage, speaking of Luke Ball:

"Luke Mason: Definitely the highlight. Can't wait to have our vice captain back out on the MCG. A very heartening return from our No.12. Got plenty of the footy, was typically strong in close and covered the ground well. There's a big green tick next to his name."

Looking at the VFL ladder, not sure that we can read anything into form from this game. Looks like Bendigo is the whipping boy of the comp. averaging over 100 point loss per game.

Don't underestimate how much we have missed Luke Ball's presence around the packs

Of course the opposition is weak but you can only play what's put up and it would seem at least that all of the players in line for a possible senior recall performed on the night.

How many games will ball play in the Vfl, maybe another 1? Is Martin the likely replacement for tooves when goes onto the long term injury list

Reckon Ball will get at least another 1, possibly 2 weeks in the VFL.

The AFL team's fixture might have something to do with it (St. Kilda next week, should win. Freo at Subi the week after, then the Cats at the MCG the week after).

I think he'll play the next 2 at VFL level, then come straight back for the Cats.

Reckon Oxley might be a smokey to replace Tooves...

Brilliant result for the Pies. Well-played by the boys.

Going by the reports that I've gathered:
* Jolly, Krakouer and Didak were all brilliant and should all be in line to play next week against St.Kilda.
* Ball had a solid first game back from his knee injury, but he'll probably need another 1 or 2 weeks in the reserves.
* The likes of Kennedy, Martin and Paine all showed encouraging signs.
* Thankfully we have no injuries from tonight
* Lastly, we should be ecstatic about the result. Our VFL team is great this year :)

By the way, I know I say this too frequently MB, but thank you for the updates. They've been great as usual :D
