Luke Mason: They switch and go to the wing where Witts takes a strong mark going back with the flight in front of Majak Daw.

Luke Mason: That one brought the crowd to its feet.

Go Witts.

Richmond seems to be a lot more advanced than I would have thought.

Comment From Dennis
Ben Richmond, Luke. How would you rate his game so far? I know we don't have stats tonight, but how would you say he has played just by observation? Such a curious story, another of Derek Hine's "basketball players". Another key forward in the making...?
8:19
Luke Mason: He's seriously one guy to really keep an eye on this year.
8:20
Luke Mason: It's only very early days and after not playing footy for five years he clearly has a long way to go, HOWEVER, his ability to read the play and position himself well has been excellent so far. He's been very clean and 'one-touch' and for a player who is used to a non-contact sport his contested marking has been terrific.
8:20
Luke Mason: Early days, of course, but those who come along to the VFL should keep a watch on him (playing mostly as a full forward so far).

Kennedy starting forward in the second half. He'll need to show something in this area if he is going to get a run in the firsts.

2nd half underway...

Mason: "The Krak sells some candy, steps inside an opponent and kicks...a behind."

Witts, seems to be heavily involved around the ground. Hard not to be bullish about his prospects.

Luke Mason: "Werribee's attempt to square it up is cut off by Krakouer.

HERE COMES THE KRAK ATTACK!

Krakouer weaves his way through the middle, linking up by hand with several opponents.

He steps inside a Werribee opponent then makes another one look silly by stepping around him with premium ease.

Then he spots up Kyle Martin 30m out on the boundary line."
