Great win folks !!
Inspirational effort from Bux (30 kicks !!), Burnsy, Fraz, Clokey, Licca, Benny, Taz ..... everyone put in.
Won each quarter.
Won in the ruck.
Won without Taz and Ant kicking goals.
Won - again.

At last. A convincing win against quality opposition.
Collingwood looked like winners from the very start. Amazing teamwork. And very effective harassment of the opposition. Freo seemed to get plenty of the ball only to be worried out of it by never-say-die second efforts from a Collingwood side that was simply not going to accept defeat on this sad historical occasion.
Best players:
Bob Rose: inspired farewell performance from the number 22. Bamboozled the opposition with his clever running to position and creative use of the ball.
Woewodin: rapidly becoming a national treasure with his vision and flair.
Buckley: tradesmanlike performance from a consumate professional.
Cloke: heroic as usual.
O'Bree: had one of those truly magic days.
Tarrant: toiled hard under unfavourable conditions, with zero assistance from the maggotry.
Fraser: is it just my imagination or is this guy coming of age?
That's how I saw it from the top deck of the Southern. A great day. Now it remains to be seen if we can carry the burden of favouritism over the next 3 weeks.

A good win from the team in the blustery conditions. Ben Johnson has taken his game to a level that i didnt think was possible. He played a great game today and that goal he kicked in the third quarter was brilliant.
Buckley and Burns were the driving force and Rogan played some good footy. Clokey is getting better with each game and was very important given the absence of Jimmy Clement.
It was good to get the four points after a long and hard week emotionally for the club. Richmond hopefully wil be crushed next week. Gaspar is not their to annoy Tarrant so i think Tarrant will be in for a big bag of goals. Campbell and Johnson are out of their midfield so we should smash them in there.
Just a quick question, why does Farmer think he is some sort of hero after kicking his first goal in that first quarter and giving it to the crowd?? He looks like a complete idiot seeing they lost and he was on the bench......lol
