Roosters are kicking exactly how we were in this encounter this time last year... appallingly.

Dids Watch:
Finished with 21 disposals. For the most part, is just class personified. Being managed carefully. Expect another run or two at this level before coming back into the frame.

Daisy Watch:
Ran himself ragged. 24 disposals. Another week in the VFL, maybe, then back into the AFL.

Krak Watch:
MIA again that quarter. Quite a ways off the pace. Very dissapointing.

Dasher Watch:
Quad, but had a smile on his face in the rooms. 1 disposal for the day.

Faz Watch:
Lukewarm return, for mine. Needs another few weeks. Goes around as though he's a million dollar player, needs a reality check.

Beard Watch:
What a pickup! Obliterated all before him in the ruck, then followed up around the ground, tackled, bullocked, chased, got into position. And 22 disposal! A most adequate backup to Jolly. And the perfect teacher for Witts, who looks ready to start busting VFL games open...

Hit outs were something like 40-6. Only 1 against us in the second half.
Well done boys!

^ 41 hitouts between Huddo and Witts, plus 1 chipped in by Richmond, who took the rucking duties in the final term...

Dale Tapping has been left alone to coach his way. That is a massive plus.

^ Yep, he needs a reality check.

Has played so much AFL since 2011, probably thinks he is a walk-up start. Uh-uh.

Needs to get his head out of his ar$e (maybe that's how he done his hammy) and just play good footy before he gets a look-in. Elliott is ahead of him in my opinion, and he's battling with Dids as well...

'Touches' is a misnomer.

If you're going to post stats, please make it 'disposals'
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Faz, Dids, Krak and several others who have missed large chunks of late pre-season will have to work their way back into condition and contention through the VFL and so they should.

Of course, the only thing that could see them rushed back is a defeat in the AFL but let's not even contemplate that for the time being.

I think the coaching staff need to hold their nerve and follow the plan they have set donw, re conditioning. Even if we were to lose (shudder), it's better to shed some skin early (in terms of losses) than to bring back underdone players and watch them struggle.

I reckon Dids and Daisy are probably the closest of the "rehab group"...
