Bucks 3

Probably 10 others can share the points...

Bit more run, good signs from Molly and Obree...

Cole is NOT ready for the ones. Cost us 2 goals.

If Richie Cole gives away another free in the back line this year i will shoot him ....fair dinkum how can freeza or scoots not get a game ahead of this turnover merchant!!!!!!!!!
get him back to willy and get his skills right before he gets another gig please!!!
I actually thought kinnear showed a litle bit for a change when he was on the field.
Molly was great,Taz superb,Clement and Wakes done a mighty job down back.
Good on young Swan for his first game.
But we were at our wasteful best for most of the game, over using handballs and kicking points.
Bucks was special as usual but he too makes disposal errors too often.
havent time tonight to do match report, will have it done before lunch tomorrow for anyone who wants a read.
Bring on the kangaroos!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our win tonight and it was wonderful to see Rupert in there as well, racking up 3 goals, yeah he stuffed up a few times, but hell, it was his first game back. O'Bree with 4 goals!

We pretty much played 4 quarters today and we always win when we play 4 quarters, keep up the good work boys!!

We should now be above the Kangaroos in percentage (given that they'll probably lose tomorrow - fingers crossed) and then we beat them next week...slowly but surely making our way up that ladder!

Great win , but the real test is whether we can consolidate over the next 5 weeks . With Kangaroos, Freo, Richmond, Calton, Geelong , we need now to put together a role and hopefully consolidate a finals place and then a high 8 finish . Plenty of hard work ahead , but they have the potential to acheive i

dont pick on us west aussies who are holding up the flag behind enemy lines, we have to put up with enough crap from weagles and shockers fans, be gentle, and at least dont put us all in the same catagory... besides, its only 2 hours behind here :P

A good win boys, now we need to get on a role and string a few in a row, we have the opportunity now

All we need to add team our team is "Consistency". With this ingredient we can go places. Fingers crossed we can string some form together.

Special mention to Cloke as i thought his smothers and pressure was brilliant.

For the life of me i cant understand why Betheras was left at Willy for so long. What a waste of talent that was :(

Welcome Back Ruuuuupert

Well ... I suppose if you manage to find an opponent weak enough, you're bound to look pretty good at times.

Four quarters, my arse !

We played ONE quarter of decent football. The rest of the night we looked like crap.

First quarter was great. But we were completely outplayed in the 2nd. And I mean COMPLETELY outplayed. If it wasn't for the heroics of Jason Cloke in defence and the utter incompetence of the Bulldogs forwards we would have been looking at a half-time deficit instead of an 8 goal lead.

Then came that abortion of a third quarter. Did we forget to set our alarm clocks or something. Three goals to zip in the first 2 or 3 minutes ... and suddenly the Wooden Spooners were back in the game. And every time we slipped away from them, they pegged us back again.

We were playing a very very weak opponent ... and we just couldn't really kill them off. A half decent side would have blown them off the face of the planet. But we are not a half decent side. We are not even close to being a half-decent side.

On tonight's effort we might as well not turn up next week. We've got no hope in hell of beating the Kangaroos ... In fact, we looked very much like a side winning its last game of the season. Maybe we might fluke one more win for the year. I'm not sure who we can beat, but no doubt there must be ONE of our remaining opponents who'll have a bad day against us.

As for some positives ...

Well ... we got the points ... So that's four positives.

Molloy played OK ... In fact he's had a couple of good ones lately. I just hope he hasn't used up his quota of good games for the season.

Tarrant is a champion ... which raises the question of why he's playing for us.

Woewodin is sublimely skilled. A class act.

Buckley shouldn't be playing. He's not even 60% fit. We made the mistake of bringing him back too soon against Hawthorn and we are going to pay dearly for our impatience.

Betheras ... yeah, well ... the Rupe was definitely ON FIRE tonight ... So, yes .... he's another positive.

Burns had some inspirational moments.

Cloke ... his 2nd quarter saved the match for us.

This season can't end soon enough for me. Expect to finish about 12th with 8 wins. Anyone who thinks we're any better than that is DREAMING ... with a capital D.

More on the game please....too busy selling raffle tickets and signing up new members to the SCSC to have enjoyed the game. Guess I will give my 3-2-1 to Scotland (cos he shoulda played), McGough (same reason) and Bucks cos every time I looked up he had the ball.

Well if buckley play that well "60% fit" i'd love to see him fully fit. He got 30+ touches and was best on ground so he should be out there. What team do you actually support afl because you don't sound like a collingwood supporter at all.

Dr Alf Andrews - are you even a collingwood supporter?? I can't believe you thought Buckley was 60% fit. Some other comments you made make to sound stupid. Are you an Essendon supporter??
