MM said in his after-match press conference that 'collingwood dont play injured players.' why bullshit us? there was an opportunity to leave buckley out for another week to have him 100%, particularly considering the bye next week. does he forget his decision to play molloy in the GF??? or tazza for almost the entire second half of last year when he probably only needed a week or two off to get his hip right?
when the side is up and running he can make a few shifty moves that generally come off but its been a trait that when we are struggling yet still within striking distance, he is incredibly slow at reacting, or chooses not to at all. what are all those assistants actually looking at during the game?
dont want to blame the coaching staff for the loss - its the 22 on the field that MUST stand up, even when things arent going well and they were deplorable today but for christ sake Micky, put the magnetic board to use.

If it wasnt for Tarrant we wouldnt have a forward line this year. Rocca and Molloy need to be stand up and counted. Our players were dropping like nine pins yet where was Rocca throwing his body around ??
Also get rid of the glove Pebbles. It just doesnt suit ya. Leave the Michael Jackson look to Treadrea.

The Torres bounce is officially dead. You are walking alone now Fernando.

Absolutely dumb and stupid football by our players.
Where did they leave their Brain on the weekend??
This cockiness has got to stop. They seem to think that they are easily going to make it into the finals.
When I saw Williams on the bench reading his SMS's, it showed me how much this team don''t give a F*#@%&*.....

They just don't seem to be hard at it this year. Last year, week in, week out, we showed desperation and played good, hard footy. We are playing soft football at the moment. The hardness needs to come back into the team and QUICK.
The delivery today was disgusting, I saw some better disposal in the VFL on Saturday in the windy conditions.
It seemed like no one felt like pikcing up their players today and just let the run loose. Time to lift your game Collingwood.

Pathetic football and bad kicking in the first quarter set us up for a loss.
I got reminded today it's June.
They should take a huge mirror to the NT and take a good hard look at themselves in the mirror.
We are lucky to be in the eight and all the bullshit about getting your membership tickets cause you may miss out on finals ticket is going to be the greatest con of all time because we won't make the finals on our current form.
We have only beaten one team in the eight.
Forget all the excuses in the world, looks like shit, smells like shit, normally it is shit.
Oh and if I am pissed off and not a true supporter for being upset at losing and bagging the team, to fricking bad. We should have beaten the dawks.

I hope the players feel as bad and horrible as we do about this Loss.
I reckon it was our worse Loss all year.
Because it was at a crucial time of the season and A game that we need to win to keep ahead of the pack and in touch with the interstaters......
This loss feels like the Carlton loss from last year....

I was already off to a bad start after getting whacked in the head by a footy when Hawthorn were warming up.
I could see stars for about the first quarter (and they sure weren't playing for Collingwood)
What a pathetic "effort".
I agree with you JLC I always think that when we play Richmond that they drag us down to their level and certainly yesterday we played well below Hawthorn's.
Hawthorn are useless so what does that make us?
Maybe we are missing Dean Laidley, at least his players are hard at the ball and never give up.
Everyone had a shit day. Even Bucks was constantly fumbling the ball - what injury would cause you to do that?
We seem to have hit the wall.
Look at the other teams that were in the finals last year - Brisbane's performances the last 2 weeks and Adelaide's performance last week (this week doesn't count as they only played Melbourne - as did we last week)
I may be on to something here when you think about it.
It's not just us.
Hopefully the break will refresh our guys.

If we play like we did yesterday Box Hill will give us a run for our money. We wouldnt beat any AFL team apart from maybe Melbourne playing garbage football like that.
The Bulldogs form has been extremely good lately. The loss against Sydney may look bad but they were in the game for a half. Just remember they played in Perth the week before and no team has recovered the next week and won. They also had to travel to Adelaide a couple of weeks ago so maybe the travel caught up with them.
If we take this game lightly we will lose.

Didak at half back for 3 quarters - great move MM.
Cloke at half forward for 3 quarters - even better.
How about Rocca in the square, and Tarrant up the ground, genious!
Why is it that we do not MOVE the bloody ball? Rocca takes a mark 60m out and would have to take at least 30 seconds every time he has it. Just bomb it to the hot spot.
Does MM not know what front and centre means. I bring it up nearly every week. Small forwards need to be front and centre of the marking contest. Why does Leon always play from behind Tarrant in a marking dual? Even around the ground. We always kick to 1 on 1s and 1 on 2s, with no one at the fall of the ball...EVER!
This team is so frustrating. How much longer do we have to wait, huh? "Stick with them, they'll bounce back." Bullshit! I've been hearing this crap all year, every year for the past decade.
The burden of playing for Collingwood and having every team every week try that much harder against us because of the exposure we receive takes its toll. We're always the hunted, even when we're crap! Like now.
Half our team could be superstars playing elsewhere. Put on the black and white stripes and they crawl into their shell!
