I have never seen the magpies so flat for such a long time. There kicking and disposal was disgusting. Maybe the week off will do them good. Lets hope so.................
One day our dreams will come true for our beloved Magpies to win another grand final:

I think this board is being VERY kind to players, as well as MM and co. An obsolute must win game today and we got smashed on every line. I'm just glad it was wet, imagine what their fit, running midfield and Holland would have done to us in the dry.
5mins into the last quarter Clement had the ball on half back, and not one Collingwood player called for, led or wanted the ball. Down by 20 points and no one wants the friggin ball.
TD said after the game that they played tarrant in the goal square the hole day to ensure Smith was kept out of the play. That worked a treat for us. After Molly played probs his best quarter all year, he was on the bench for most of the next 2 quarters.
If Licuria wasn't 100%, 1. why was he out there 2. thats no excuse to give away that kind of free kicks.
If Presti can't beat his man in a marking contest on a wet day, what good to us is he?
Jason Cloke is not a forward.
Woey got smashed by a stringbean after he fumbled, a fair bump and wouldn't have happened had he picked it up cleanly.
All these are valid comments, do you not agree?

I think Rocca, Presti need to go back to the seconds for self confidence.
I am sure Bucks was still under an injury cloud because some of his disposals were not his usual accuracy.
Were playing all right and then the rain started and the Hawks could handle the change in conditions and they out ran us, had more guts and were hungry for the ball.

You would think that we would want it more to keep in touch with top 4 wouldnt you? I think the problem is we over trained in the off season as most of the other clubs had the jump on us, because we are looking more and more lethargic as we go on. Last year we stepped things up as we went on, this year we look totally spent already and going downhill.

That was the most pathetic effort i have seen for a while. I use the word effort lightly. Hawthorn are a very average team at best who like to drag teams down to their level a bit like Richmond. Not only did we drop to their level i think we sunk way past that.
To let a player like Nick Holland dominate is a total embarrassment. To see John Barker kick two goals was also very humbling. Rocca has 10 times the ability of these two duds yet doesnt show it often enough. Rocca has been the big disappointment for me this season. Hopefully he can bounce back for the second half of the year.
All i can say is thank goodness we have the break next week as i think a few of our players have a lot of soul searching to do. Performances like today are the reason teams DONT RESPECT US and the reason that we will not make the top 4.
Bucks clearly wasnt fit and im surprised we risked our star player considering i heard that all week no player who isnt fit wouldnt play.

The Torres bounce is officially dead. You are walking alone now Fernando.

I've said it all year,if u can't kick goals then u will lose!!!!!!!!!!.
If the mighty pies had just kicked the majority of chances they had, after all it was 3 goals and 10 points either in the 1st or 2nd quarter,i can't recall but if u can't take the chances of course a lame side like hawthorn will look good. The spirit was gone when the pies couldn;t take their chances.
COME ON PIES!!!!!!!!.
KICK THOSE BULLDOGS OFF THE PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I still love the pies but they r so frustrating.
KEEP THE FAITH IN THE MIGHTY PIES!!!!!!!!!!!.

Well what can I say.
I can't watch the replay but from my view, this year when we don't move the ball quickly down to the forward line - we lose. Plain and simple. Lat week no problem but from what I have been reading - this week - pathetic.
The break will do us a world of good. We should also stop comparing ourselves to our performance last year.
We are 6-6. Better than being 4-8. Time for some people to take a good long hard look at themselves over the next couple of weeks.
Collingwood supporters please do not give up.

Absolutely pathetic
Just simple football skills, we do not seem to be able to do consistently.
Its time that a few of these players stood up and stopped being the primma donna's we accuse other teams of being.
Simple hard at it football by 22 guys will do me, not this half hearted crap served up to us every other week.
Bloody ropeable

I had an excellent day today BEFORE the game started!
I can only think of a few words and they are all along the lines of 'dissapointed'.
The whole game today you could barely see any players who actually WANTED the ball and WANTED to win the game! It was so frustrating to watch!
I hate it when the opposition is in possession & they have NOBODY on them, but as soon as we are in possession, everybody is manned up!
I am so shattered and disappointed! I cannot go to the footy for a month now as my parents are going to USA tomorrow for a month and i cant go to night games by myself! So that was my last game i can go to for ONE MONTH! There was no winners circle for me to celebrate! No happiness to carry on with me till the fremantle game! Im so depressed!
Im proud of Jarrod though! You got a goal and when you were on the ground you never stopped trying! I hope my words of encouragement before the match and my card for you was a part of that!
Love always, Alyssa xoxo
