Scotty burns played a shocker in the under 6's one week. He had a broken ankle, two broken arms and a patch over one eye at the time. Since then I think he's put in solid game after solid game.

The best thing is we are kicking goals from outside 50, that is us at our damaging best.

Outside 50's have been missing in our losses.

I hadn't thought of that culprit but you are right. We were devastating from outside 50 in the wiz cup....9 pointers or not they still went through. I think dids may have had a bit to do with that.

Last year we were the team that kicked the most goals from outside 50.

Didak is doing what he did last year running and applying pressure and becoming defensive. He has done that since Malthouse gave him a blast.

Rocca is carrying a groin injury to me and not devasting even from 40.
He got up off the boundary line Monday and grab his groin area and he wasn't adjusting himself either. :P

MM only played him for a bit over a quarter all up - was surprised MM didnt just leave him one out in the goal square for the final quarter for him to get some confidence with a couple of goals. he's still trying hard though and hopefully not far away from a big one. a week at willy, the mid season break and then he can get back into it.

3- fraser
2- burns
1- presti(how much have we missed this bloke?!)
Burns was best on ground by a mile.
jlc

burns was great as always of course(hence 2 votes) but i thought fraser's impact in restricting white was the most important contest in the game. white is a class act, has been in great form and fraser has obviously struggled lately. when it needed to be won in the first half, as good as burns was, fraser was the standout. just my opinion though.

White killed Fraser in tap outs and under ND's instructions was to play off his opponent. Had Melbourne got control of the ball white would have done the damage.

Burns solid all game and far better then Joshy JLC, Joshy showed some smarts by becoming a loose man in the forward line. Joshy has done well and has to do it each week.

complete rubbish. have already read two different articles where ND said fraser comprehensively beat white in battles around the ground. fraser is not a ruckman and isnt expected to win the taps. pies are 3rd in the comp for clearances from bouncedowns despite being in the bottom 3 for tap wins. fraser's job was done perfectly against white and jamar- 18 touches (white 14), 8 marks, 2 goals 1. wasnt criticising burns in any way, just saying people look at the scoresheet, see 4 goals from a midfielder and laud him with all the praise. he obviously deserves a lot of it as it was a great game, but a couple of them were gimme goals when the game was dead. people need to look beyond the goals column on the stat sheet.

He beat White around the ground as White did not play on him, I actually don't think I saw white man up on josh once.

Burns had an opponent all day. That's my point.

Fraser is by far a ruckman your right there.

i think you'll find burns barely had an opponent while fraser was able to get away from white. thats the point. cant believe we're arguing about this - they were both bloody good!

Josh was great and hopefully continues. It's good that we can argue who played the best, I prefer that than who played the worse game.
