No Bucks ,umps in yella ,crikey whats going on?
Game on Josh in the ruck gets first tap and the 2nd but not the 3rd as the yella fellas have trouble getting the game mobile. Clement gets the first free of the day ,shaw kicks the first OOB but the dees get the first goal to oozay.
we are fiddling around getting nowhere early cant get past HF and handballs coming unstuck in fact we looked a bit slow to start with.
Cole is playing forward this week which is good and he snaps thru our first goal of the day .
Williams proves why he is an AFL player and not at man utd as he does the worst soccer attempt at a goal ive ever seen,Rocca snaps one OOF,its ugly until criss cross we find good old josh and he goals from 30.
taz marks at 50 PT and Willo snaps a pt and its the same old wasteful pies of old at the start,luckily the dees are just as bad if not worse.
leon roves the pack like he should do more often and snaps truly.
But as so often happens to us the next bounce ses the opposition get the goalback,we then resume messing around like old moles and after much wasted effort Burnsy finally grabs it on the wing and drills a long goal.
Dees get that one back straight away again.

Not much changed at start of second qtr with much messing around with the footy getting us nowhere until Taz marked passed to burns handball to daks and its a goal.
Burnsy dishes off to josh with handball and he goals.
Up the other end neitz had 2 shots at goal and fluffed them both,clement kicked in to brodie,he has 3 bounces passes to Taz off to burnsy and its another goal.
It soon became apparent that there is now a rule that says you can hold the ball under you for 5 minutes before its a ball up as the yella fellas refuse to blow the whistle when packs form.
Taz marks and goals and the score is looking much better now.
Willo gets into the action taking mark of the century but dropped it on mollys head on the way down,play on,but willo goals a minute later to make up for it.
dees get a point and from the kick in its another series of pie marks and passes which end up with brodie marking in the goal square and he gets flattened for his trouble,gets 50 but only uses 5 of them and goals.
I make a mental note that the umps still owe brodie 45 mtrs .
dees get that one straightbback 15 seconds later.
Its now time for the old trademark lonie run bounce and goal trick.
havent seen that very often this year.
Another turnover by johnno sets the dees up for a goal after the siren and its 70-39 with the pies in control.

To start the second half scoring leon snaps over his head from the goal square and misses.
back to the early criss cross rubbish we go and we get nowhere and the dees eventually score one.
Shaw has been terrific down back today and he sees the goals and dashes fwd but is run down..too slow to get it on foot. Pt
Burns goals from 40 then leon marks 5 mtrs out and passes backwards to willo who goals.
Burns misses from 20 out and leon has a shot with a banana that bent the wrong way.Woey took a strong mark but the yella bloke paid it to his opponent,seems you can get a mark without touching the ball now. But Daks sends one thru the middle and the hapless melbourne are a rabble waiting to be buried deep in the MCG soil. as burns y and then leon finish the qtr with goals its a healthy 104-47 lead and the pies are playing team footy although unconvincing at times its way too god for the other mob playing today.
I cant believe that ive backed this rabble for the wooden spoon and somehow there are worse teams in the league!

as so often happens the dees got that straight back. and then they get 2 more but trademark lonie mark 2 then gets us another and just on red time Woey comes off the ground for a rest amd gets a round of applause.
Woedown 2003 is over,woey wins hands down.
