I'll second that.RudeBoy wrote:From this thread I think we can safely pencil in Taz at full forward next week, replacing Dawes.
Going by Mason on the LiveChat, though, he'll either go down back or play as 3rd tall alongside Cloke and Dawes.
Club not getting the message, it seems.

And who would play relief ruck?RudeBoy wrote:From this thread I think we can safely pencil in Taz at full forward next week, replacing Dawes.
The setup we've been waiting all season for is Cloke, Tarrant and Dawes (ruck/forward). Seems like some nice kicking from Taz today, but it's his mobility and pace that will be the clincher as to whether he'll provide value up forward in the seniors.
Well done boys!

First it was Paine who'd be far better than Dawes (hasn't really turned out that way, even though he's played as a permanent forward), now Witts.
I have doubts over Witts as a forward in the seniors, especially at this stage of his career. How many 210cm full forwards have there been in the game? I'd be extremely surprised if he had the tank to play the ruck/forward role, let alone the smarts.
Nope. Dawes is our only realistic option (Ceglar's not worth mentioning at this stage). Though the argument that we should have been after a ruck/forward in the off-season is now pretty much unchallenged.

Salmon was a 206cm full forward 22 years ago and did OK.AN_Inkling wrote:First it was Paine who'd be far better than Dawes (hasn't really turned out that way, even though he's played as a permanent forward), now Witts.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
