nice win, but melbourne seriously are a joke. some people here wanted travis johnstone to play for us - u got to be kidding. lazy and soft, like 5/6 of their team. i'd hate to barrack for them atm.

good to see mr fraser doing exceptionally well against classy opposition.

Brilliant! Good team game today. Burns, he is class, what a gun. Taz, Woey, Didak, Presti, Clement, Shaw, Fraser, Lonie...I could go on, all played good games.

Only dissapointing thing was that we didn't finish them off in the last quarter, but apart from that a great win. It shows what we can do when we play as a team. Good stuff.

One worrying sign, Rocca, what's going on mate? Anyway, back to the positives. Shaw was brilliant running off half back today and picked up 27 possies, sensational effort. I'm starting to like Shawry alot.

Taz grabbed 15 marks and kicked three, another good effort. Josh, played fantastic, especially in the first half. Did he beat White in the ruck? It seemed like he did.

Anyway, I will stop there. Great effort guys, keep it up.

8) Fantastic win boys!! I really enjoyed that game. Woey showed his great value for our team, by getting in and under the ball, assisting for goals and great team work. He looked thrilled to get that game out of the way, well done Woe. Taz, brilliant, he's in top form with 3 more goals and 15 marks I think it was.. Really impressed with Fraser, he did a great job, as did Didak, Shaw, Licca and of course Burnsy was fantastic. Clokey did very well down back and that goal by Lonie, OMG goal of the year or what? :D A great win, good percentage helper, and back in the 8. Well done!!

YES! :D

It was a good team effort, that's for sure. Shaw continues to improve and Fraser played well. And of course Woey contributed magnificently.

Great to see Leon Davis enjoying himself.

Its been a long time since ive seen that, he was just having fun out there which obviously has an affect on his peformance.

Great to see Shaw stepping up and Didak stood strong with a lot of contested marks etc.

All positives from the game just what we needed.

Thank God for that.
A nice relaxing afternoon. No stress in that.
Just an enjoyable display.

Highlights:

LONIE'S GOAL!
Anyone else explode in their pants when he kicked that? :D
Goal of the year!

Rhyce Shaw.
27 touches off half back. He has come good.
Was brilliant. Provided great run off HB.

Josh Fraser.
Surely his best ever game for us. 21 or 22 touches (was our highest possesion getter to quarter time with 9), 2 goals, won the ruck. Let's see more of it Josh!

Scott Burns.
This guy doesn't get the credit he deserves.
An out and out champion.

Chris Tarrant.
16 or 17 marks again. Just a machine. 3 goals. 20-something touches.
Champion.

Shane Woewodin.
Didn't he love it! 22 touches. Was hard all day. Was great in-and-under. Set up at least 2 goals with his fast handballs out of the pack. Could have had a goal after a great mark but unselfishly passed to Broadie in the goalsquare. Love you Woey!

Leon Davis.
Nice return to form!

Sh*t! Everyone was great!

Turning point of season.

I forgot to mention in the match report that i thought scoots did a fine job when he came on.got plenty of it.
Dont know what MM is doing with Molly.
Im sure we are a better unit when hes on the field, but MM keeps him on the pine so much.

Thank you Collingwood!

To the players who did such a great job, I just wanted to let you know that we needed that win today and I don't just mean the Club, I mean US the supporters.

It was fantastic to go to a game and have a great win for a change.

We go every week hoping for a game like that and it's just great to be able to enjoy it after our inconsistent form of late.

Burnsy was fantastic up forward as was Tarrant and those Lonie goals are so exciting. Shaw was great today and I'm so glad that Woey did well too.
Licca fantastic effort as always and Clement cool and efficient.
Great to see Josh, Clokey and Leon back in form.

Thanks again for a fantastic effort.

Geez we beat Melbourne nothing to get excited over. We won well, Most players were great. Shaw was steady and pin point disposal. Burns well no need to comment I know he is good. Defence back to 2002 form.

The player intensity was were it should be, my only reason I can't get excited it was Melbourne and boy are the terrible.

Molloy could not get into the game, you mozzed him Tess.
