As expected Tasmania outclassed, I think that more State of Origin Football could give Tasmanian Football some exposure... I think we need to try and attract some former AFL stars down here to lift the profile of the league.

Indeed, Prototype. What we saw out there today was a young TSL team.

They, and TSL football, will be better for the experience, even though the scoreline must be hard to swallow.

TSL plays the SANFL next year, I think.

Massive win to the Vics. Former North player John Baird was a standout, but Kris Pendlebury put in a good showing in defence.

It was amazing to see how much bigger the Victorian bodies were. Obviously the fitness regimes used by the VFL and TSL clubs couldn't be further apart. It's something AFL Tasmania needs to address otherwise Tassie will continue to struggle to get players drafted into the AFL.

Hey guys only watched parts of the first qtr. I assume boland and hellier didn't play?

Quick question for our Tassie followers... How did Nick McKenna go? Does he have AFL potential?

I believe at least 3 of these players listed will be drafted.

Looking at today's game, I cannot see Jaye Bowden playing in the AFL, he's a good player, and shows a lot of heart and works hard but I do not believe he's an AFL player as much as people pump him up.

AFL Tasmania needs a cleanout in the offices, I think the people there really haven't a clue what they are doing. They want to rain young players, and have players remain at an older age in the league, why eliminate the reserves?

Remove the salary cap from the TSL, and allow clubs to try and bring back some of the delisted players to the league. Attract 2 big names per team, plus players between 25-30 per team that either played in the TSL, or played in the VFL, SANFL,WAFL, etc.

The league needs TV.... It needs crowds, but it also needs TV for exposure.

Neither of those two played, Kris Pendlebury played, and did well.

Nick McKenna wasn't too bad, he was looking to impose himself in every contest late, he is not that old either from memory had a stint over in the SANFL came back last season.
