seedsman had a quiet game as he only played 1st qtr. got concussed during 1st qtr and did not come back onto the ground.
yagmoor- has to grow a set. on 1 set of play missed 4 tackles and bendigo get a goal out of it. he is also afraid to go for the ball (yes he is young but other young players go for the ball) also turned the ball over a few too many times which proved costly
elliott- could be a chance to step into afl team. played another good game.
young- as dtm said.

Pretty shit game to be honest. We lacked sustained intensity and it became apparent we have a few passengers.
I think our VFL boys got a rough run and the Club looks to highlight AFL performances.
Riddle was good (not great, but better than most) Hellier was very good. Ferraro was the tackle king again.
The AFL boys, by AFL standards should be performing better and need a good kick in the pants. There are spots in the AFL team up for grabs and Bucks does not play favourites, so I fail to see why some of these guys are holding back.
One that got away for mine. I thought we were just a Jackson Paine short of easily dealing with Bendigo.
No game this week, then over to Werribee next week (June 2nd). Gives the lads a break to reflect I guess.

2 byes and now a week off and we aren't even half way through the season. how much do you think that impacts on team performance?die4pies wrote:Pretty shit game to be honest. We lacked sustained intensity and it became apparent we have a few passengers.

Starting the season with a bye was not helpful at all. We had reasonable momentum at that point.
I think we got hurt more by not having our two most effective forwards Matty Boland and Jacko Paine on Saturday though.
The last quarter fade outs are becoming a regular occurance too, which is a tad worrying.
Werribee will be a very good test and I think we have the mids to be very competitive. Matty Boland must play and one of our four ruckmen should be dropped. But which one? Shae, Cegs, Witts or Wood?
