But Port have comprehensively taken the 2nd best team in the comp apart today. So unless Tarrant, Thomas and Jolly all get up and play in the ressies next week, we are looking at a flogging as well.

Actually, if Wood plays seniors next week (vomit!), it will leave us a little less top heavy at VFL level, so Witts and Ceglar can ruck and leave the forward line for the forwards.
Well they are Due a Loss

^ Yes, indeed they are. But I don't think it will be against us.

On the other hand, they are due to take a trip up to the NT in two weeks time to play off in the State League Cup tournament, so I wonder how they will approach their player management with that in mind.

Today's result stretches Port Melbourne's run of wins to 28 in a row.

Still a ways to go before they equal North Melbourne's run of 58, though.

North Melbourne won 58 in a row in the then VFA between 1914 and 1919.

Picked up 3 VFA flags during that run, too.

Quarter Time at TBBO:

Sandringham 4.7.31
