think better wrote:Donny I know non-voting comments are frowned on but I was really interested as to whether there had been such a clear cut choice in a game for BOG?

Normally one or two would be picked out as an alternative BOG but I reckon Swany will be a unanimous choice.
Was thinking the same thing, last night.

Didn't have to look far. :)

Pendles, in the first game of this year, was unanimous.

Hell, even David resisted his usual obsession of finding a backman with a few touches to put ahead of those wascally midfielders who rack up 35 or so disposals, to give Swanny the 5 points.

"What's up David ? How does 42 disposals, 20 contested, 15 clearances, 6 tackles and 3 cheeseburgers .. er .. 3 goals, sound?"
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

5 Swan
4 Jolly
3 Pendles
2 Sidey
1 Johnno

Seriously need a top 10 pick
Clarke, Blair, Cloke, Beams and Wellers were also terrific.
Keefe, Harry, Maxy and Brown stood strong all day... pure inspiration.
All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

Musta been watching a different game! Everyone seems to have missed what was surely Steelo's best game since the GF replay, he seemed to be everywhere!! But then he did have lots of mates. several blokes played what I thought was their best game in Black and White, including Wellers, Keefy, Marty, & Goldy, and others played their best game in quite a while, such as Harry, Jolls, Johnno and Browny. Still, only 5 may be chosen, so...

5: Swan
4: Sidebottom
3: Wellers
2: Johnno
1: Pendles

Apologies Harry, Brown, Marty, Goldy, coz there was daylight between the worst of these and the best bomber.
