That's not surprising if that's the case

He'll be back for the match against the Bulldogs next week along with Shaw and Reid.

Wood good second half although he is very frustrating - needs to play angry
Best I have seen from Witts - going along ok
Paine - good second half and last quarter in particular
Williams good
Yagmoor looks ok but is very unsure at the moment
Woods gone at years end, no balls.
Witts still learning, drops his head to easy.
Yagamoor just running around like it was an intraclub match. No intensity to his game whatsoever.
Shae, see Woods.
Paine can play.
Williams has a go.
Paine was getting better the longer the game went. Missed a crucial goal that would have put us 18 points up, but showed some real intensity.

Witts had easily the best game I've seen him play. Dropped a lot of marks, but he moves quite well for a man his size. The ruck is definitely his position, and I think it's about time we use both he and Ceglar in this position rather than Wood.

Didak was fantastic early, but I just wonder whether he was favouring the ankle he landed awkardly on in the first qtr. Another week in the twos for mine.

Marley Williams really has a dip, and I think that he has plenty of room for improvement.

Young. Won't make it. Lopes around like he's the only player on the field. Can't kick and has no composure. Delisted at years end.

Ceglar has great hands, and like Witts moves well for his size. Needs to find more of the ball, but this is not helped by the fact that we are playing with 3-4 ruckman every week.

Elliott. Not much in the first half, but was a lot busier in the 2nd half. Is tough, and moves well. He, Paine and Witts are clearly the best of our young guys.

Yagmoor. Looked like he'd been smoking weed for the entire game. Had no intensity ans was disinterested. Maybe he had late night watching 'The Blues'. In the preseason, this bloke looked like a player. It would appear that the first game against the Dawks has scared the crap out of him, and he has showed nothing since.

They reckon he's still another week off. Here's an article about the players returning next week possibly.

There was some good signs after half time, particularly from Jackson Paine.

Peter Yagmoor needs to be told to harden the **** up now and actually show some intent. He has a nice kicking action, but his decision making is average to poor.

He might not have racked up big numbers today but Elliott showed in different pieces of play why he has the goods to make it at the next level IMO.

Just looked a class above.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Liked the look of Elliot,

Witts looked good but has developed the habit of running under the ball. Maybe the wind was messing with his judgement, don't know but I just love how he follows up at ground level

Major Paine, exhibition of contested marking. Very good stuff.

"Bob" Marley Williams does have a dip.

Hartley did a few nice things, he's a reasonable sized kid

Wood was jumping at centre bounces, getting his hand to the ball and directing it down. His aim was off a bit, or the players weren't where they were supposed to be. One of the better efforts I've seen from him in the ruck at VFL level.

There was a kid, Ricky Ferraro, no 64 who is a top up player who caught my eye. For a second I thought we'd drafted Gimli but could see the axe on his hip. Has a crack that kid.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Sounds like a big game from Paine
Pity he couldn't finish with a couple extra goals
But still 20 poss & 10 marks.
I wish Wood could have a couple off games
Like that.
