Carlton losing what was billed as an unlosable game, a dead cert.

hahaha Karma is a bitch!
And parasite Carrazzo too. It's a wonder he didn't leave the field clinging to the trainer, like he did to Pendles last week...

Happened to the pies a few times in 2010 too, I believe.

You start to get some momentum, then you believe all the hype and think all you need to do is show up.

2010 V Geelong and Brisbane if I recall.

I believe it's what happened to Carlton today. You start to believe all the hype about your own side, then things can fall over.

I love seeing the scum lose, but I also hate seeing Essendon win.

Still, Bombers will be favourites on Anzac day. That might get into their heads. :)

Yep let them go in favourites. Better for our team to be underdogs. Seem to do better in that situation. Nice for them not to have every team playing them like it is their grand final.

Daisy and Heater to make fast recoveries and come back a week early.

The game today didn't look to be overly physical, so i'm sure our boys will be fine.

I hope you're right but I actually thought our players looked stuffed in the last quarter. It's one reason why we couldn't increase our lead. Remember also that the docklands surface is rock hard, which historically takes its toll on players legs.

Bombers were just too good. They are a real danger side now. If they could beat Carlton easing off in the last to preserve themselves for us, with all the injuries they have, we will have a real game on our hands.
