The exposure these companies have received in the past few days has got to be worth a mint.

This is what you get when you pander to whack jobs on the far right. Fancy a half breed not worshiping one of their Aryan totems! Let's form a mob and drive her out of town! Filthy cheap so and so!

What are the names of those racist companies who support bigoted misogynist extremists again?

The delicious irony of them being tarred with the same brush is a lesson in PR they'll never forget. Pity it had to come at an apparently decent person's expense.

Well if they can get Bolt taken off in a 2 for 1 deal I'd be happy.
What do you think of the richest woman in Australia being able to put on her own show simply because of the political slant of the commentator? I would feel happier if it were compelled to have "paid political announcement" before and after.

^Yep. That's plain deranged.

Whack the bastards back and give the nutters their arms race. They'll slink away with cries of victimisation as they always do.

Start a facebook page targeting companies who support bigots, racists and misogynists.

David, there's more than enough you can do from the middle; there's no need to mark blokes doing their jobs with the disgrace of Iraq and Afghanistan. It doesn't matter how you preface it, that will be the perception. That both wars are widely perceived as a disgrace and abject failure will hang around the necks of the right for a very long time yet; no need to go the extra mile and whack their heroes, too.

It's not about the military doing their job (as you've said); but it is about massively destructive BS wars supported by opportunistic politicians and companies playing the ignorant authoritarian mob on the right like a fiddle.

Also, give the right their symbols and icons; that sort of stuff is too ingrained in their psychology for them to give up. Target areas in which you can make progress such as the republic, which is a chance to develop new and more appropriate symbols.

The only issue of interest related to this incident is that companies have caved in to redneck pressure and chosen to support bigots, racists and misogynists rather than someone simply organising a formal apology and moving on. Why don't you spend more time hanging the support of bigotry and the mob threat to free speech and rights around the necks of the companies and the mob concerned?

Interesting the only one who walks out of this with dignity is said Soldier who accepted the apology and said he didn't think it was a big deal. He made no fuss whatsoever about it.

You must be brain dead and I dare say properly a dud root. Don't get offended I'm being light hearted and I do have the right to free speech, even if it's at your expense...right?
A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated.
