I am sorry guys,

But Molloy has to go - where I just don't know.
Fraser should be tried at CHB - hopelss ruck.
Leon should be included and played on the wing and just allowed to run as he wishes alla Ricky Barham
Tarrant to CHF - perhaps Molloy to FF
Rocca in the ruck assisted with new ruckman
McKee must go.

I thought MCG was starting to hit his straps too....he's someone who can turn the centre clearances around when we are getting caned out of the centre stopages.

Clokey getting dropped shows that spots have to be earned... glad to see scotto back in the line up.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

how the f*** can McGough be dropped?Last week starting the last quater he had played for only 15 mins, then in the last quater he played very well.I just dont understand some of the selections this year, cloke also should feel unlucky. He is thrown all over the ground (back/forward),he should still be playing the same role as last year(playing on the 3rd or 4th best forward which allows him to leave his man & help someone else out)he's still learning

Why do people continue to rate Adelaide?

Last year I did a comparison of who beat who in the top 8 - as they ended up at the end of the season. Why did I do this? Because you have to beat top 8 teams to win FINALS!

Adelaide won only 2 out of 9 encounters with top 8 sides during the home and away rounds, and only one out of three during the finals.

They made the finals by beating teams down the ladder.

We won 6 from 9, and 2 from 3 in the finals.

So how about this year? Who have Adelaide beaten?

Trashed Freo in Adelaide - no big deal...

Easily accounted for Sydney in Sydeny - yes, a good result.

Did WCE by 5 goals in Adelaide - is that surprising?

Beat the cr*p out of a Carey focused Kangaroos - also not that surprising.

But who have they lost to?

St Kilda beat them over here. What can you say about that?

Port beat them in an ordinary game of football.

So how good is their form. I'd say it is only ordinary and we have a good chance to beat them.

The thing that Adelaide have going for them is that they have 10 or so goal kickers in most matches. It is not a matter of just stopping one or two players.

With the return of Wakes, the added run of Scotland & Shaw and a developing Cole I believe we will give this game a shake.

If you don't think so, do a man on man comparison of the two teams - you'll be surprised - particularly their back line!

Better yet, we cant show them we are getting pressured much like last week against the swans. A damn lowly team!
On two occassions we showed these signs by putting Lokan and Ben Kinnear. And to put it simply it is %^&$*&% moronic. Keep the strong presence, hit your tackles hard, scoop that ball up, deliver it rigfht up the guts and have our forwards presenting themselves.

My main problem isnt this game plan because the boys can can and WILL do it. My prob is our full backs at current time, I cant see the passion out of Presti, maybe he is still feeling the sting but he is a high quality back man. Cloke is still a kid, he's gotta learn to be a little more dirty  , every great backman knows they cant always be a fan fave to get the job done. Wakelin at the moment gets my vote he never quits, and at least he attempts to get in the face of opposition when they are leading where as the others run behind

thats my 2 cents, question to all is how would you like to see the backline!!!

It has been raining this morning in Adelaide...so the rain might be gone by tomorrow night, as it wasn't supposed to rain until later tonight.

Just for those interested in what to pack to bring over for the game.

I agree with most of you, we will win this game, by 26 points. Micky has been experimenting with players in different positions, but I think it will be back to basics for this one. We have good record over there and we will have learnt a lot form the Wiz Fiz cup final. Look out for Carey to get hammered by Clement, GO YOU GOOD THINGS!!!

8) You folks know how to live downunder. I'm just back from a first trip to AUD & NZ and am already planning the next. The highlight in Australia was attending my first Aussie rules football as suggested by a savvy Quantas flight attendant. Your football is awesome and far more interesting than in US or that other game played down there, and certainly far superior to our so-called pasttime-baseball. I went to the Geelong game on a saturday afternoon and sat up in the nosebleed, no acohol section-next time I'll get closer to the field with some good aussie brew.
Cheers, nomad chef back in Florida
