Having a look at Brisbanes backline I think they are seriously in a bit of strife with our forwards. to capitalise on this we need our midfield to be on song, hopeuflly Bucks, Burnsy, O'Bree and co can deliver the goods.

If you look at the match ups, Lepitch on Rocca, Mal Michael on Fraser, Ashcroft on Molloy, Brad Johnson ? on Tarrant? White on Tarrant? I can't see Michael playing on Tarrant, tarrant is too fast and plays too far from goal for michael, but who do they have left? who played on him in the GF? it was white wasn't it?

Taarrant could calve him up around the ground - my prediction is Tarrant kicks no goals, but ten assists this game and rarely goes into teh forward 50. That'll confuse the hell out of Brissy!

Don't be surprised to see a match like last years first encounter with Port. I have a feeling we'll start slowly (like every other week). Then we'll slowly claw our way back into the game, with the final 15 mins deciding the victor.

Also, I believe Rup was taken as our 23rd player to slot into the first 22. Someone will give their spot up for him I reckon (probably shaw).

Just one more thing to say before tonight's big game.

If Taz is having a shot for goal, and chris scott is standing the mark, someone should tell Taz to kick from well behind the mark. That b@stard has really long fingers apparently.

I think Chris Scott lined up on Tarrant in the Grand Final. Tarrant really is the key tonight as his quick on the lead and Brisbane probably only has the Scott twins that would be quick enough to go with him on the lead.
