Thanks mate! Happy to be of service. Glad you enjoyed it (apart from the result, of course... ).TurkishPie wrote:been out all day so i just got a chance to see the result now. it felt like i was following the game live, thanks MagpieBAt.

Lourey's celebration to rile Jolly after kicking a goal off a dubious throwing the ball decision, was one of the most pathetic things I've seen. He was obviously trying to get to Jolly, but I'm not sure he had any idea how big a tool he looked. Particularly for a guy who is only ever going to be a VFL scrub.
It was a tough ask against the wind, but there is a pattern of avalanches of goals occurring once we get behind or lose some momentum.

Anthony Rocca gives his report on each member of the team's effort on Sunday:

Also contains video highlights of Jolly and BJ's efforts, including Jolly's 70m bomb for goal with the first kick of the match...

Wow! I got back from Sydney and have most of the game in text!!
Dissapointed about the loss here. I really thought we should have won this game. Especially with the likes of Jolly and Johnno playing. From what I've read, it sounds like we had a great start before falling away a little in the 2nd.
Sandi were shocking infront of goal, which kept us in it, but isnt a good sign as far as possesions go.
Sounded like a tight game, almost a heart stopper, until Sandi got the last few junk time goals.
Happy to hear Johnno and Jolly were on fire. Just down that we didnt get a win as I thought finals were still in reach.
