Great to see Beams and Keefe in the best few.

McCarthy had 30 possies up to 3/4 time so continues to press for senior selection.

VFL listed Sundberg continues to impress.

Beams therefore made the right choice. Full game in the 2s IS better than a game as sub.
Get back on top.

This game will forever be known as the making of Scott Reed.

He was brilliant down back, especially late in the game, taking diving marks, and stopping attack after attack from Geelong.

McCarthy, Beams and Fasolo were also great. :D

Jon said during the coverage, that Beams has been told to work on his defensive side. Hence playing in the VFL.

Wondering why 'The Caff' didn't play.

Here are my thoughts on the VFL Game:

Cats Fans where Bloody Cocky after Last Night
Ceglar had a Quiet Game and Missed a Sitter. But did Smash some Packs
I really Like Gordon's Game. Did Well on Vardy Espically Early and He used the Ball out of Defense very well.
Fasolo has to be Close to Debuting
Shae Still looks lost
Keeffe was played in the Ruck and did not do well
Reilly did not do Much
Umpring was usual Crappy Standered
Tom Young Was Fantastic

When are Sinclair and Josh Thomas expected to return (I think Thomas is injured still....)?

I'd love to see these two get some senior games, maybe in the latter half of this year. With others like Keeffe and Fasolo getting a run too.

Buckley was a revelation on Friday night which really just puts an emphasis on the importance of bringing players through the VFL, and actually letting them have a few games under their belt in the seniors :P

I keep seeing Fasolo in the best every week. Can really find the ball, has good goal sense and has a thumping kick. Seems to be mature and could actually form part of our 30 ready to go players. Seems to have jumped ahead of guys like Rounds and Reed so far this year. Also Keefe, JMac and Beamsy are knocking the door down.
