And to top it off we lost by 8 points due to bad kicking.

Barham had a shot to put us in front, missed everything, Bendigo went the length of the ground and goaled.

I hope Hunter is ok though.

That pretty much sums up Barham's career to date.

Tommy was rushed to hospital as a precaution and the initial signs were terrible. I can confirm that Tom is OK and clear of any spinal cord injuries.

It was terrible to see this happen and we all know what Bobby Rose went through with his son Robert and Neil Sachse when he was Footscray's coach. More recently Jack Anthony had a very serious scare too.

This and beating the team we beat in the famous 1953 grand final and it was Bob Rose's birthday too.

Lets hope Tom will be right for our finals campaign. We missed him under the packs today.

I really hope Tom is alright after the NAB incident as well.

Anyone know how we can send messages of support?

It is a concern, two neck injuries within about 6 months and the last one looking quite serious. Makes you wonder if there is a underlying weakness. All the best to the young bloke, can never have too many players who play with heart.
