So what do you think our chances are for this week (or is that a stupid question?)???

We should win by an absolute street, I reckon, with Nath continuing along on his merry way, and producing a carbon copy of his 200th game performance! :)

would anyone agree that beating Carlton by 1 point after the siren is better than winning by 15 goals??

The filth will be trying their guts out this week, as a thumping from Collingwood will be a very bitter pill for them to swallow but i dont think it will matter. Collingwood are far too superior, classy and talented and will get over a battling Carlton with great ease. We will kill them all over the ground and should win by at least 10 goals. My prediction is a day out for Tarrant and Didak with 5 goals each and 40 possies for Bux. Pies by 73 points :D

The only reason Sydney is sitting on top of the ladder at the moment is the percentage boost they got from beating the blues.
This is our chance to do the same

Be prepared for bad umpiring again this week.
Steve Mc**** has our game, along with a bloke who hasn't been to the MCG.
Could be a long night again free kick wise.

The only thing that worries about this game is that we have far more to lose in terms of credibility and respect than the Moos do.

I fwe lose we get lambasted. Blues lose it is much of the same.

I think Carlton will have a red hot go. Its Rattens 250th game and normally for milestone games Carlton lift for the occassion. The only exception was Silvagni when Richmond beat them.

They will be playing in front of their supporters for the first time so they will want to prove that they have improves from last year.

The senior players also got a roasting in the media so im sure they will be out to prove the critics wrong.

How much difference this will make will be seen on the night i guess.

Collingwood by about 4 or 5 goals

i think we need to win by a huge margin so that our % puts us where we belong....on top of the ladder, not sitting under the Bulldogs......

Whilst im confident of a big win, these are the type of games that terrify me. The ones where we are soooooooooooooooo odds on fave to win its not funny... :?

i know how you feel miss magpie, i always get nverous versing a team like Carlton, but more than ever when we are shown to be favourites and that the public think we will win by a huge margin.
As much as i would love a huge margin to win by, i know it won't happen unless they totally giveup, they learnt from last week against Sydney and Pagan will be pushing his boys to the limit against collingwood, our boys are going to have to go out their with open minds for this game, playing last week against the tigers i reckon the boys had in their minds set that they were basically 50/50 chance to win, i just hope they don't run out into the game thinking it will be a cakewalk.
Aslong as they try hard and stay alert i'm sure we'll win comfortlby
