For what it's worth, if we do play practice games this year it won't be against Sandringham, as they are playing 3 games against Casey, Port and Frankston, respectively.

One opponent off the list, eleven more to go!

I have just been told by a bloke down here in Torquay that we will be having a practice match against Geelong at Torquay oval. But he didn't say when. Good thing if they do, the ground is in fantastic shape and only 1 min walk away from where I live. AT LAST
May the seeds of hope bloom into the eurphoria of success. Go Pies

So, we have another practice match added to our schedule, against Geelong at Kardinia Park on March 5th, at 12pm.

I wonder why our other practice matches aren't included in the VFL schedule...

The practice match at Torquay, then, would seemingly be played on March 19th, against Geelong, as it's the last vacant slot on the schedule above.

Boys handled the first pre-season game very well vs Bendigo. Not sure on the score, but a pretty convincing win.

Next game is Saturday at Skilled Stadium vs Geelong.
12th of March sees us play Northern Bullants at Cardboard (Visy) Park.
Friday 25th of March, we play Bendigo again at Gosch's Paddock.

Come down and support!

Pies at Torquay

Post by BrodieisTops »

HI Went to Geelong on Saturday, I was impressed with Tarkyn and Anthony, Tarkyn spoke quietly and precisely ala Gavin Brown.
Good to see Tyson on the Park.
When is the game at Torquay???

Don't see Torquay on the schedule, but back down to Skilled Stadium during the main season on the 6/8/11.

Does anybody know what the latest is with this match? Is it still on, and if so, what time will it commence?

The reason im asking is because i've heard that Carlton - Geelong are playing at Princess Park on Saturday with the game kicking off at 1.00pm.

cmfc_82, I'll let you know when I find out.

Heard that the game could start at 10am, but nothing confirmed yet.
Should hear from the club tomorrow about it.
