Didn't I tell you. Everytime I take my son to the MCG we win. There was no way I was going to leave him home in Brisbane.

Off the Collingwood twitter:

"Didak: I tore my pectoral muscle off the bone against the Crows. Thks to the physios I was able to play with lots of pain killers."

*ouch*

And apparently Pendles lost about 6kg going into the previous match.

To those who witnessed 1990... How do the two compare?
I think this is as wonderful as 1990. One i watched at the G, the other at home, but both are an absolute joy.

Just got home and by God what a fantastic win. To Eddie and all those that built this win I say congratulations you have done us all proud. To Mick and the boys this is one for the true believers , I was there in '90 and that was one hell of a relief , but this was probably better because we were favourites , this team now has it all before them , a new dynasty awaits. As for St. Blunda I think they have a curse that makes the colliewobbles look like a picnic. Ha

Well done to the two players in this side who were part of the 2002/2003 grand final teams.

Alan Didak - 14 kicks, 7 hb, 2 goals.
Ben Johnson - 17 kicks, 3 hb, 1 goal.

Well done to them both :D

What can I say. That was just magnificent. Being in the Ponsford Stand during the last quarter is something I will never forget.

I missed out on tickets in 1990, so this was so special.

I started crying in the second quarter when we went 4 goals up- even then I knew that my lifetime (football) dream of being at the G with my kids to witness a magpie flag was coming true.

Special mention to Brenton & Sean, Uncle Des, The Kray Brothers and Riley & his cousin Phil for their awesome support of our beloved club.

Special best wishes to John & Jude on their coming nuptials...

Eddie, Mick & Bucks deserve this for the incredible effort they have put in.

There is a long list of knob supporters from other clubs that I must contact at about 3-00 am tomorrow.

The Lad tipped a 37 point win. Im glad I was wrong.

Finally, last year I thought Maxwell was not good enough to be in our starting 22- how wrong I was- a simply superb captain- Well done Nick!!

I'm SO happy. It's like I'm in a suspended state of stunned ecstasy. Just a magnificent performance. I sat side by side with my best mate at the MCG and we savoured ever moment.

What a day!

Bulldogs by 10 goals

Geelong by 80 odd

Saints by 56 points
Since Round 11, we have beaten the Doggies twice, Geelong twice, The Aints twice plus a draw. All those teams in the top 4. Throw in that we smashed the Bombers twice and the Scum twice, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM THIS GREAT PIES TEAM in 2010. It's friggin worth 2 premierships in 2010, not one.

You little beauty - GO PIES 2011 - bring it on...

Interesting that Pendles was sick before last week game. Lost 6 kgs between Wednesday and morning of the match. Malthouse saying in the after match presser.

That would account why Pendles was down last week.

We lost 4 games for the season, and only one after round 10, and that one we didn't care about. That's domination.

Just so happy!!!! It likes a huge weight has been lifted.

Cried tears of joy/relief with 5 minutes to go and that last quarter was magnificent.

Just to see the joy on everyone's faces when the siren went was something to behold. And to read all these posts just gladens my heart. And did I mention I was happy???

Looking forward to watching the game again - just got home from a 50th birthday, so looks like no sleep tonight.

More party time at Goschs tomorrow. GO PIES!!!!!
